WHAT DOES ARDENT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

When you are no longer our member, we may continue to share your information as described in this notice and as required by law.

Please note: If you are a new member we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our member, we continue to share your information as described in this notice. However you can contact us at anytime to limit our sharing.

What we do
How does Ardent Federal Credit Union protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

We also restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.

How does Ardent Federal Credit Union collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • open an account or apply for a loan
  • apply for any credit union service
  • you visit our website, provide us information on any online application or transaction, or information you send to us by email.
  • use your credit or debit card or pay your bills
  • make deposits to or withdrawals from your accounts

We also collect your personal information from others, including credit bureaus, affiliates or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

 

Definitions
Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Ardent Insurance Agency
Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Ardent Federal Credit Union does not share with non-affiliates so they can market to you, except for joint marketing arrangements.
Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include financial service partners that provide securities, insurance and mortgage services.

 

Ardent eBanking Mobile banking app

The following permissions pertain to the use of Ardent’s ebanking mobile app:

Note: You can disable options for these permissions on your device. Updates to the Ardent eBanking app may automatically add additional usage capabilities.

 

COPPA Statement

Ardent Federal Credit Union does not knowingly collect, nor is our website designed or directed, to use personal information from children under the age of 13 without containing verifiable consent from their parents.
