A qualifying account must be funded, remain open and in good standing to receive the bonus. Qualifying accounts earn the standard 1.50% cash back (up to $10 per month) on net debit card purchases. This offer adds a monthly cash back bonus, which is an additional 6.00% cash back on net debit card purchases. For example, $100 of debit card purchases would result in $1.50 in standard cash back for a qualifying account. The cash back bonus on $100 would be 6.00% of $100, which equals $6.00. In total, the account would earn $7.50 ($1.50 standard cash back + $6.00 cash back bonus) for the month, which is 7.50% cash back. The standard cash back will appear at the start of the next month. The cash back bonus will appear within 3 business days after the start of the month. This is a 12 month promotion. Month one is the account opening month and it continues for the next 11 months. ²A qualifying account completes the following activities during the calendar month: make 8 debit card purchases, get one direct deposit and/or other electronic deposit of $100 or more and receive eStatements. All three activities must be completed each month. A qualifying regularly recurring direct deposit is an automated electronic deposit of $100 or more, such as a payroll deposit. The deposit must post to the account during the calendar month. Electronic transfers between accounts do not count as a direct deposit. For example, a person-to-person transfer or an internet service transfer would not qualify as a direct deposit. Debit card purchases must post and settle to your checking account during the calendar month. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card purchases. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post and settle to your account. Additionally, qualifying accounts earn domestic ATM surcharge fees of up to $4.99 per single transaction charged by ATM owner incurred during the month will be reimbursed up to a total of $25.00.
