How You Can Qualify for Membership
Becoming an Ardent member is easier than you may think. There are multiple ways to qualify. See how you’re eligible to enjoy all the benefits of membership.
Join through your workplace, association or organization membership
You can qualify for membership if you meet any one of these qualifications:
- You work for or retired from a company in our list of Select Employee Group (SEG)/Association partners.
- You are a regular contractor or volunteer for a SEG/Association partner.
- You have a family relationship (see Join through family/household relationship) to a non-member who currently works for or retired from a SEG/Association partner.
- You are the widow or widower of someone who worked for or was retired from a SEG/Association partner.
Join through a family or household relationship
You can qualify if you are directly related to or share a household with someone who qualifies for membership. Eligible relationships include:
- Spouse or widow/widower
- Child/stepchild
- Parent/stepparent
- Sibling
- Grandparent
- Grandchild
- Domestic partner
- Roommate sharing finances
Join by enrolling in the American Consumer Council (ACC)
By enrolling in the ACC, you become eligible for Ardent membership. ACC enrollment is open to anyone. The ACC is a national nonprofit focused on consumer advocacy and financial literacy. On your membership application, select “Other (through free enrollment in American Consumer Council)” for your eligibility and we’ll do the rest. Learn more.
Become a Select Employee Group (SEG)
If you own or run a business or organization, you can bring the benefits of Ardent to your employees and members.
Partner with Ardent for free
Give your employees or organization members access to Ardent’s innovative banking resources at no additional cost to you. Become a Select Employee Group (SEG) and your employees/members will immediately qualify for Ardent membership, which is a great benefit to offer employees.
