Hertz recently partnered with Amazon to sell its pre-owned cars. Buyers can search, purchase and complete paperwork entirely online, then pick up their vehicle at a Hertz location.
For some buyers, this may sound like a shortcut to scoring a great deal. Former rental cars are often advertised with low miles, low prices and a streamlined purchase process.
